HOW TY CHIPS WORK
A Small Token. A Meaningful Thank You.
Tango Yankee comes from the phonetic alphabet letters "T" and "Y," commonly used over the radio to mean "thank you."
Our chips were created with one simple purpose: to recognize kindness, express genuine gratitude, and encourage people to pass that kindness along.
1. Carry a Little Gratitude
Keep a Tango Yankee Chip or two with you wherever you go. Be intentional about noticing the good happening around you, especially the small acts of kindness that often go unrecognized.
2. Recognize Someone's Kindness
When you see someone helping others, going the extra mile, or simply doing the right thing, take a moment to acknowledge them.
Offer them a chip, shake their hand if appropriate, and tell them why their actions mattered.
Sometimes a sincere thank-you means more than we realize.
3. Encourage Them to Pass It On
Let them know the chip is theirs to keep or pass along to someone who makes a difference in their life.
There's no obligation, no reward to earn, and no recognition to seek. Just a simple reminder that kindness matters.
4. Keep the Good Going
Continue looking for opportunities to recognize others, but remember that showing kindness yourself is just as important.
The more we look for good in the world, the more opportunities we find to contribute to it.
More Than a Chip
The true value of a Tango Yankee Chip isn't what it's made of. It's the gratitude behind it, the person receiving it, and the kindness it has the potential to inspire.
Because what you do matters. And sometimes, all it takes is someone noticing.
